For our pneumatic and tilt-top over bed tables, we use GASTAC’s own locking gas springs – precision components designed specifically for medical furniture. All gas springs are filled, tested, and calibrated in our factory, with force tolerance held to ±5%.

Locking Gas Springs for Release Systems

The gas spring is activated via a cable-operated trigger handle (mounted under or at the side of the tabletop) or a top-mounted push-button. Both options provide smooth, one-touch height adjustment and instant locking upon release.

Locking Gas Springs for Control Button / Handle

The trigger handle features a soft-touch ABS grip with an actuation force of ≤15N, while the push-button option offers a large, recessed design (≤10N actuation) – both suitable for patients with limited hand strength. Cable lengths and button sizes are customizable per table design.

Custom Loking Gas Spring Force Engineering
