Locking Gas Shock HY4
Usually Gastac gas spring has two types of locking gas shock HY4,26mm and 28mm the pressure tube, the same piston rod diameter 10mm,we called a locking gas shock HY4.
Compression Direction: In the compression direction (when the locking gas spring is being pushed in), the locking is described as rigid up to a mechanical load limit. This means that, regardless of the force applied to compress the locking gas spring, it will remain rigid until it reaches this load limit.
Extension Direction: In the extension direction (when the locking gas spring is being pulled out or extended), the locking remains rigid until a limit is reached, the limit for rigid locking in the compression direction is described as being 4.8 times the F1-force. This is a specific numerical value that indicates the gas strut’s capability to withstand external loads in the compression direction.Once the applied force falls below this filling force-dependent limit, the separating piston (a component of the locking gas spring) starts moving in the direction of the gas chamber.
This locking gas spring is suitable for applications that require strong, rigid locking against additional loads or weights.
