Door Gas Strut
Gas door struts, also known as fuel door struts or gas spring shocks, are small hydraulic devices that help support and hold open the fuel door on a vehicle. Door gas strut are typically made up of a cylinder filled with pressurized gas and a piston rod that moves in and out of the cylinder as the fuel door opens and closes.
The gas shocks for doors work by using the force of compressed gas to push against the piston, which in turn supports the weight of the fuel door as it opens. Door gas spring makes it easier to open and close the fuel door, and also prevents it from accidentally slamming shut or falling closed when in use.
Gas door struts are commonly found on cars, trucks, and other vehicles that use gasoline or diesel fuel. Gas strut door are typically easy to replace if they become damaged or worn out, and can be purchased from auto parts stores or online retailers.
